Section policies
The essential course policies are outline on the main course website.
Suggested Text Calculus: Early Transcendentals 6e, Volume 2 by James Stewart. Assigned reading and some homework will be based off this edition of the textbook. Do not buy a WebAssign coupon. This section is not using WebAssign. We instead will be using WeBWorK, a free to use homework delivery system.
Grading There will be two midterms and a final exam. Each exam will be worth a quarter of the final grade. A tenth of the final grade will depend on quiz grades, while the rest will depend on homework.
Homework With each lecture there will be a short collection of problems posted on WeBWorK. These problems will tend to stress the computational aspects of the material. In addition to the online homework, there will be a weekly homework assignment consisting of questions which emphasize conceptual aspects and applications of the material.
