About me

"A mathematical theory is not to be considered complete until you have made it so clear that you can explain it to the first man whom you meet on the street." -- David Hilbert.

Kody J. H. Law was born in Concord, Massachusetts. He has earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The latter degree opened up a passion for the interface of the abstract and concrete. After deciding to persue a Phd, he remained at UMass against all generic advice for a third degree, in order to continue active research with Panos Kevrekidis. He has attended numerous conferences and scientific activities and been notably influenced by extended scientific interactions with, among others, Yannis Kevrekidis, Avadh Saxena, and Laurette Tuckerman.
