LARP fielded a very strong and diverse crew, but nobody was going to "count" out math and stats, given the strong performance of John S last year. Several spousal additions made for some compelling storylines: the Q-dog (representing Smith Chem), Maria (representing History), and Dave (representing Springfield College).
Two questions were foremost on everyone's mind: how much of a factor would the heat be? and would the triathlon course be easy to follow this year?
Well, to be perfectly frank, the heat was brutal and unforgiving, like a first-year studio critique, and the course was about as easy to follow as a math seminar talk in Lederle. But like good graduate students, the puff-letes toughed it out, and much fun and pain was had by all.
