MONTY HALL PROBLEM - EXTRA CREDIT - DUE TUESDAY, JANUARY 25th
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
HW #1 - Due Monday, January 10
HW #2 - Due Wednesday, January 12
MIDTERM REVIEW - Some practice problems for the exam...the answers that aren't in the back I've given a link to the solutions.
HW#3 - Due Wednesday, January 19
HOMEWORK POLICY: The underlined problems are for you to turn in to me, as homework, during class on the due date given. We will have a quiz at the end of class on the day the assignment is due, consisting of some of the remaining problems. The quiz will be closed notes/book, but if you do all the problems ahead of time, the quiz should be easy. Both the quiz and the homework will be graded on a 100-point scale, and the HIGHER of the two will be counted as your score for this assignment. If you miss class on the day of a quiz, you cannot take a makeup quiz, so your HW score will be counted as your assignment score.
Late homework will receive a 15% deduction per day over due. Homework will be considered late if you do not hand it in by 2:00 PM on the day it's due. If you will not be in class, you still must get the assignment to me on the day it's due, otherwise it will be considered late. There is an envelope on my office (LGRT 1323H) door that you can put assignments in ahead of time if you won't be in class, or send it along with a classmate. If you have a legitimate excuse for not being able to complete the HW on time, you must let me know no later than the day before it's due in order to avoid a lateness deduction.
EXAMS - Both exams will be in class
