Math 127H, Calculus I for Life and Social Sciences

Course Description


This is the honors section of M127. Students taking the course should be interested in gaining an understanding of the principles of Differential and Integral Calculus.  While the course will not emphasize formal mathematical rigor it will go beyond computational techniques.  We will also emphasize applications to biology and medicine.


Brief Outline

We will review Chapter 1 of the Neuhauser textbook and cover most of Chapters 3 - 6, as well as some sections of Chapters 2.   Printable Syllabus
