Course Requirements

Course Materials: Calculus: Early Transcendentals, paperback 6th edition by Stewart. For extensive course details and policies please consult the official course website. It is suggested that you have a TI-89 for this course, though all of my quizzes and exams will be written so that you can complete them without a calculator; helpful tutorials and instructions on how to use your TI are available on the main 132 site. There will be three examinations during the term, and a cumulative final. The practice exercises and exam dates are listed below; please contact me TWO WEEKS prior to any exam if you have an excused absence.

There will be weekly homework and quizzes, typically on Thursdays, both of which contribute to the instructor's portion of your mark in the course. Changed homework/quiz due dates will be announced in class. There will be no late homeworks or quizzes without a documented reason (medical note, varsity sports event, etc.). While I do not require attendance, you will be responsible for all the material covered in lecture, including announcements, changes to homework as well as the corresponding sections assigned from the text.

Suggested Exercises (changes announced in class may not be posted)

Boldfaced exercises will be collected at the beginning of lecture
